Claude G. ThĂ©orĂȘt kicked off CreativeMornings in MontrĂ©al this July, speaking on the month’s theme of “Space.” An astrophysicist with expertise in the management of innovation, Claude is also a teacher and spoke on how how the infinitely large is actually determined and constrained by the infinitely small.

Pitting Edwin P. Hubble against Albert Einstein, Claude broke down how our universe came into existence, using these wonderfully simple illustrations to help depict complex theories.

"We are all made up of stardust," Claude told the audience.

"Being a real scientist or a real creative, means being at the limit of the known and unknown. And if you’re not there, you’re not pushing yourself hard enough."

You’re a winner! A card that says it all—or doesn’t—depending on how you fill in the blank.

Best CreativeMornings attendee? Super Stellar Speaker? The Hungry Workshop lets you decide. The letterpress studio is run by Simon and Jenna Hipgrave, speakers at CreativeMornings/Melbourne this past May.

Speaking on the month’s theme of Urbanism, Jessica Jungbauer will be taking the stage at our Berlin event this Friday. Jessica is a freelance journalist who recently launched the online magazine, “Best wishes from Berlin.”

The online journal shares the stories by creatives from all over the world living in Berlin. Like New York in the 1980s or Paris in the 1920s, Berlin is now known for its creative vibe. If it is in Neukoelln, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg or Mitte—creative ideas like living room concerts, pop-up bakeries or start-ups constitute and enrich the life in the city of Berlin. The German capital provides inspiration for its international inhabitants, which the magazine hopes to capture.
