Danielle Dagan on EMBER

Dear Community,

Our theme for April is EMBER. It was chosen by our Poulsbo chapter in Washington and illustrated by Sarah Gordon.

The literal meaning of Ember is a small piece of burning or glowing coal or wood in a dying fire. But as a metaphor, it means so much more.

The connection between the Earth and fire is precisely our chosen metaphor, particularly as our event takes place two days after the global celebration of "Earth Day". We want to pay our own tribute to the Earth, led by Danielle Sagan, through an educational and interactive session.

Das Thema Ember wurde von unserer Ortsgruppe Poulsbo, Washington, ausgewählt und von Sarah Gordon illustriert.

Wörtlich bedeutet „Glut“ glühende Kohle oder Holz in einem sich erlöschenden Feuer. Als Metapher bedeutet es jedoch so viel mehr – und das werden wir miteinander erkunden!

Zwei Tage nach dem “Earth Day” findet unsere CreativeMornings Veranstaltung statt. Für uns Grund genug unseren Frühstuckvortrag mit dem globalen Thema “Ember” unserer Mutter Erde zu widmen.

‼️ As the event is taking place during the spring half-term holidays in some cantons, Daniele has generously offered to allow young people aged 14 and over who are interested in the topic to exceptionally attend this event accompanied by an adult.

‼️Da die Veranstaltung in einigen Kantonen in die Frühlingsferien fällt, hat Daniele grosszügigerweise angeboten, dass Jugendliche ab 14 Jahren, die sich für das Thema interessieren, ausnahmsweise in Begleitung eines Erwachsenen an dieser Veranstaltung teilnehmen dürfen.
