About the speaker
In this session, we will use design thinking, positive psychology and behavioral economics to design our home office for more productivity, mental strength and well-being. We will learn how to survive in isolation from an astronaut, how to bring the mindset of an Olympian to our work from a Gold medalist and how to stay creative with advice by screenwriters of Dr. House. In this way, we can create space for new ideas and creative energy while staying in one place - our home office.
According to a study by the World Economic Forum, employees and knowledge workers working from home suffer primarily from loneliness, the disability to unplug from work as well as too many distractions at home.
We will see how small interventions can help us tackle those struggles, taking note of our inner worlds and enjoy working and creating from home!
The session is led by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kernbach from the University of St. Gallen who runs the Life Design Lab (www.lifedesignlab.ch) and just finished writing his latest book in his home office about life design - how to bring more of yourself into your life which is available at Amazon (in German).
Happy to co-host this event with CM Basel - directly, life and in color from a secret location in Zurich.
