About the speaker

🎵 This month's live musical guest is award-winning soul, funk and rock n' roll singer-songwriter Kuba Oms.🎶

Kuba is a Canadian singer-songwriter renowned for his soulful voice and dynamic stage presence. His debut solo album, How Much Time, blends 70s-era soul, funk, and rock, drawing comparisons to artists like David Gray, Ben Harper, and Al Green. His follow-up album, ADHD, features the hit singles My Love and Electrolove, both reaching the top 20 on Canadian pop radio and amassing over 10 million streams across platforms. In 2015, Oms earned a Latin Grammy for his collaboration with Alex Cuba on the album Healer. After a hiatus, he returned to his soul and R&B roots with the 2022 single None of Us Are Free, a cover inspired by the Motown sound, recorded through vintage gear and analog tape. Oms is releasing his latest single, Shine on Jan 10, 2025, so our event will be a world premiere!
